Bali business players worked in marine tourism are committed to conserve marine ecosystem especially coral reefs, pants, and animals living in the sea. I Gde Nurjaya, the head of Bali Tourism Office said “they must do it seriously because the damage to underwater ecosystem will affect Bali tourism business.”
The conservation act must also be done by the people in Bali in a more effective manner. The locals especially those living by the sea must be aware of natural surrounding for example by not throwing garbage to the sea.
The awareness will also preserve the ebach because beach has important value for the Balinese. In addition to tourism attraction, beach is also used as the place to conduct religious rituals by Hindu community. Tourists are normally very sensitive about the environmental issue, they may choose another destination of they find the beach is dirty with garbages. Hopefully the development of marine tourism in Bali will speread tourism welfare into other areas in Bali.
