Five of Indonesian citizens who were trapped in terrorist beseige of Oberoi Hetel in Mumbai arrived safely at Ngurah Rai International Airport of Bali on Sunday (December 7th).

The group left Mumbai on Malaysian Airlines and welcomed by the Head of Bali Manpower and Transmigration Office Komang Rai Sujaka and their families. “I am very happy that my grand daughter has been back to our home town. We have been parted for quite a while. No we can gather again,” I Wayan Sandat, the grandfather of Ni Kadek Dharmayanti said.

The return of five Balinese girls was facilitated by Indonesian government, the manpower agent of the Oberoi Hotel as their employer, and other sponsors. “We are glad that everything had gone well, so we can meet our families again. We are very thankful to the government for their efforts,” said Dharmayanti.

The five Balinese migrant workers are Ni Kadek Dharmayanti, Ni Nyoman Sri Arini, I Gusti Ayu Putu Sri Rahayu, Anak Agung Komang Triastina, and Ni Luh Gde Mahendrayani. They are all native Balinese and worked as spa therapists at the Oberoi Hotel, Mumbai.
