Bali Governor Made Mangku Pastika urged Bali people especially those living in Ungasan and Kedonganan village, Badung, to handle the wild dogs in the area. The evasive action was needed because there have been several people bitten by the dogs and hospitalized, even died.

Indian President Pratibha Devisingh Patil and her 60-member entourage on Saturday visited Hindu temple of Taman Ayun in Mengwi district of Badung regency. The Regent of Badung Anak Agung Gede Agung and tens of yiung children performing traditional dances greeted the Indian President before she entered the shrine.
