SimPATI users can enjoy chap cellular communication price with the extension of TalkMania program. The program gives a evry low price for multiple calls as day long for for one and a half hours to more than 63 milion other Telkomsel subscribers until the end of January 2009.
Customers in Java, Bali and West Nusa-Tenggara will be charged 2,000 – equal to 37 seconds in normal fare – rupiah whilst those residing in Sumatra, Kalimantan, and Sulawesi will be charged 3,000 – equal to 55 seconds in normal fare. By joining TalkMania program customers can freely make calls between 1 a.m. and 6 p.m. in their own local time up to a total duration of one ajd a half hours or 5,400 seconds.
Calls are not restricted to one single call. Unlimited number of multiple calls to all Telkomsel users – which represent more than 50% on cellular users in the country – is allowed as long as the duration limit remains available. Hastining Bagyo Astuti, the General Manager of Sales and Customer Services of Telkomsel for Bali and Nusa Tenggara said “the extension of TalkMania program represents our appreciation to all SimPATI users which at the moment is 45.5 million, the highest in Indonesia.”
To join the program, customer has to send a free-of-chare SMS by following the format of TM<space>ON to assigned number 8999. “All SimPATI users can enjoy TalkMania. The program holds priority status, which means if the customer already had bonuses then TalkMania benefit will come first,” added Hastining.
In order to check the status of TalkMania usage – elapsed time allotment and other bonuses – coustomers can access specific menu through *899# and previous transaction record can be obtained through *889#.
