Denpasar – Heads of Youth Organization in Bali joined the Bali Rescue Coalition (KPB) as the house of representative to be more critical in handling the city plan rules. I Putu Hendra Sastrawan, the coordinator of KPB, said “We asked the board to consider Bali’s beautiful nature. We don’t want Bali to be over exploited because of the rules.”
Bali Rescue Coalition supported the house of representative who already formed a special committee to discuss the issue. There is great hope that the special committee can work properly to solve the problems regarding Bali city plan rules (RTRWP).
KPB is also concerned because many areas in Bali and the Balinese culture itself have been exploited for the benefits of the economic industry. “We would like to ask all decision makers in Bali to emphasize on morality and dharma so the vision of saving Bali can be accomplished,” added Sastrawan.
He said that the head of Bali’s House of Representatives, Ida Bagus Wesnawa, welcomed the idea of KPB. Wesnawa was very proud of the spirits and morals of the Balinese youth. Bali’s House of Representative even invited the Balinese youth to join the discussion of RTRWP Bali on June 10th 2009.
