Denpasar – The number of HIV/AIDS patients in Badung district, has increased and now includes housewives and babies.
Badung has 454 cases of HIV/AIDS, comprising 178 HIV patients and 276 AIDS patients, I Ketut Sudikerta, deputy district head of Badung, said here on Thursday.
Of the total number, 37 patients have already died of the disease, he said.
The local district authorities will deal with HIV/AIDS problem seriously with the involvement of NGOs, students, and other concerned parties, he said.
