Bali will become the host of International film festival which involved countries from throughout the world. I Made Santha, the head of Art and Movie Division in Bali Cultural Department, said “ Indonesia was appointed as the host of the festival and Indoensian Cultural and Tourism Minister appointed Bali as the place for the festival.”
The festival will be held in 2012. Even if the festival still 3 and a half years away but Bali should be preparing as early as possile. Santha said that the preparation including developing film industry in Indoensia.
“There is great hope that film made by Balinese can join the festival. The government will star the efforts to develop the movie industry in 2010,” he added. Bali has unique culture and beautiful nature and it support the moie makers to create movies in Bali.
A movie entitled “Eat Pray Love” which involved several Hollywood stars will be filming in Jimbaran, Sanur, Candidasa, and Ubud. The movie produce by Elizabeth Gilbert is starring by Julia Robert. Balinese artists also will take part in the movie.
