The tourism observers and businessmen in Bali joined in “Nusantara Tourism Promo”, is already to develop tourism in Indonesia. The head of Nusantara Tourism Promo (NTP), Amos Lillo, said “we are willing to help the government in developing several areas in Indonesia to become tourism sites. There are many unique area the can be developed info new tourism destination.”
The organizaztion was established on March 2009 and after the meeting held on Wednesday, October 14th 2009, the association was created a program to develop and promote tourism entitled “Developing and promoting Indonesian hospitatlity Industry”.
Amos, said “we had the strong will to help the government in developing and promoting tourism in Indonesia.” There is great hope that new tourism sites can be developed in order to join the already established sites such as Bali, Yogyakarta, jakarta, and others.
One of the programs developed by NTP is developing human resources as the base of tourism. “If we already understand the meaning of tourism then it will be easier to apply it in tourism,” Amos added.
NTP also promote cooperation between all provinces in Indonesia. The well known tourism area could join in promoting and developing the new one, such as Solo which is quite near from Yogyakarta.
