Asia Best City Award won by Ubud defeated Bangkok and Hong Kong as its powerful competitor that followed behind this cultural hometown city. This award beside stand as an appreciation also becomes a challenge for this city to improve and rearrange disorder condition happened nowadays in Ubud. The award goes to this city through a poll conducted by Conde Nast Traveler publisher and vote by its 25 thousands readers. Chris Mitchell, the vice president of Conde Nast Traveler, in his message stated his gratitude to the tourists who had visited and chose Ubud as the best city. Selection criteria gave Ubud highest score was Ubud people hospitality, besides atmosphere and cultural/sites ambiance, accommodation, restaurant and place for shopping.
