Bali province now had disaster alert village in Tejakula Village, Tejakula district, Buleleng Regency. “This village is bringing the title of disaster alert village as it is very important to explain to the people about how to save ourselves when disaster is coming around. In Bali it is newly on Tejakula,” said the Head of Social Department Bali, Ketut Susrama in Denpasar on Thursday. According to him, the establishment of disaster alert village is also based on the vulnerability potential of related area.
“Tejakula village had chosen to get disaster alert since 2011 due to this area is often getting flood and storm that attracting landslide and mud from surrounding hills,” said him. Further Social Department Bali is preparing its local people to be ready in facing sudden disaster. “This village also prepared a kind of warehouse disaster so local people have buffer stock for their disaster aid. We are still searching right location of the disaster warehouse,” said him.
