The value of plait export Bali is distributing US$2,44 million foreign exchange along 2011. It increases for 59,39 percent rather than one in 2010 as it was US$1,53 million. “The foreign exchange achievement gained by exporting 1,90 million pieces handicrafts in 2011. It increases 81,71 percent rather than last year as it was 1,04 million pieces,” said the Head of Public Relation Department Bali I Ketut Teneng in Denpasar on Tuesday.

He said the significant increase is coming from both volume and the value of the handicraft. It blessed by market chance and great creativity of the local craftsmen who had created unique and interesting design for abroad customer. “Further Bali plait has bright prospect in the future as it is increasing foreign exchange,” said him. This good condition is encouraging us to sustain it in the future while local exporter should try hard to extend abroad market.
